just got home from a GIANT prayer meeting at bethany for amy stockstill. i'm quite speechless.
a few of us from hpc were able to be a part of this prayer meeting. it was truly an experience i will never forget- seeing how much faith these people cried out with!!!
something pastor jonathan said during the prayer meeting grabbed my attention. he told the congregation that they are "learning to fight"!!! i love that! God wants us to HAVE to cry out to Him. we can't just be chill all the time...when someones down we've gotta know how to fight! and that's what bethany (and hpc together) are learning to do through this.
God has mrs. amy in His hands. we trust Him completely with her life and we know His glory will be shown and His life will be breathed into her.
so start praying, man!!! learn to fight!!!

- hmm...i think that strobe lights are the coolest things ever! sometimes i use pesto as a salad dressing...i like to jam to keith green music...and i think it would be so cool to become a vegetarian (i wish!) someday i would love to be a missionary (in a sense, i think everyone should be) my ambition is to have a passion for people like Jesus has...and to turn the world upside down for His glory...i want everyone to experience what i've experienced in God- and so much more. (in case you don't know me- i over analyze so much that i drive myself insane- so, yes, sometimes i must be reminded to just shut up and breathe in His peace.) yep! that's me. i'm just a simple yet complex freak...who, for some reason, God decided to bless and to use for His glory. "to those whom much is given, much is required." i want to give it all! >4

so true. what an amazing display of how we are supposed to be as the body of Christ, and how perfect that God saw Amy as strong enough to use in order to complete his work and teach us about unity and how to fight.

Yes, this has been such a hard process. Knowing how to fight is huge, our weapons are not carnal..but we have to get a grip on our weapons.
Bottom line is God is good and one day we will see clearly. Praise Him, that's it.
By the way, I dig that song, I wore it out when it first came out several years back, thanks for reminding me of how great it is.
